About

Anna Tun

Anna Tun creates beautiful figurative sculptures in clay for casting in bronze. She is particularly interested in capturing the beauty and complexity of the human form in 3 dimensions. A sculpture is a 3d snapshot of a 4d entity. In other words the 4th dimension of time is encapsulated into the sculpture by the sensitive interpretation of the artist.

Anna has been interested in clay modelling from an early age when she presented her mother with a portrait of the family dog. Later in life she resumed her passion with another dog, this time cast in bronze.

Anna's work has been inspired by past masters such as Auguste Rodin and Frederic Remington, and current masters such as Victor Issa. In fact Anna was so taken with Victor's work that she has collected a couple of Issa life size bronzes, and is visiting the renowned sculptor in America to learn more from him.

Although she has a science degree from London University, Anna is an artist at heart. She is married with 6 children and lives in Cambridge, UK.
